Kaitlin is a Halifax-based architect, recently returned to the Maritimes after several years in British Columbia. After completing her bachelor and M.Arch. degrees at Dalhousie University, Kaitlin moved to Vancouver where she had the opportunity to develop projects that deliver low barrier housing and services for adults and youth living with addiction, mental health challenges, and chronic homelessness. The most recent project completed, Covenant House Vancouver, was recently awarded the Canadian Green Building SabMag Award for small institutional building and is scheduled to achieve LEED Gold.
Kaitlin is an architect who has a strong belief in both environmental and social sustainability. She takes pride in working with a team to provide well-functioning, well-designed buildings that are sensitive to the communities they serve and the neighborhoods in which they are sited.
